Welcome to fall film festival season. I'm not at Telluride or Venice, but I've seen Parkland, which is playing both festivals. (It will also be playing Toronto, where I'll be in a few days.) This ensemble drama is a retelling of John F. Kennedy's assassination through the eyes of the people who witnessed its aftermath from the frontlines: nurses, doctors, FBI agents, bystanders.
