Director Katie Aselton's first film was The Freebie, about a married couple who decide that since their sex life is in a rut they're going to allow each other to have a one-night-only fling with someone else. Some might find that premise shocking, but it's got nothing on her follow-up film. Black Rock tells the scary story of three female friends (Kate Bosworth, Lake Bell, Aselton) who go on vacation together to a remote island ... and, well, bad stuff happens.
