Super Dark Times opens today, telling the story of two high-school friends (Owen Campbell and Charlie Tahan) who get involved in something, well, super-dark. For the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, I moderated a Q&A with them and director Kevin Phillips. We talked about the film's genesis, the challenges Phillips did (or didn't) face making a movie that would invite comparisons to Stand by Me, and how the two young stars found their way into acting.
