I was back on Screen International's podcast, this time from Toronto, to talk about my favorite films from the festival. (Also in this episode: My colleague Jeremy Kay discusses the festival's new market, and then Jonathan Romney previews San Sebastian.) Check out all our wise words down below.

My Interview With Dave and John Chernin, Writer-Directors of 'Incoming'
Dave and John are brothers who grew up in Los Angeles around the film business. (Their dad is Peter Chernin.) The brothers are comedy writers who worked on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and created The Mick. And now they've made the sort of foul-mouthed, super-crass, R-rated comedy they grew up loving. But is there a world for those movies anymore? For Cracked, I talked to them about Incoming.

The Grierson & Leitch Podcast: So, How Did Jimmy Kimmel Do at the Oscars?
Well, that's it for another Oscar season. On the podcast, we go long talking about the show. (Mostly, it's me venting about the things I think the broadcast keeps doing wrong.) Then, we review Scream VI and Champions, which we also don't see eye-to-eye on. Lots of disagreement! Hear the whole thing down below.

The Undeserving Comedy Oscar Winners
Comedies so rarely win big prizes at the Oscars. And when they do, well, they're not always great picks. For Cracked, I ran down some of the more egregious examples.

'Champions' Review
Bobby Farrelly directs his first solo feature with Champions, in which Woody Harrelson plays a disgraced coach guiding a basketball team with intellectual disabilities. My review is up at Screen International.

Toronto 2022: 'The Greatest Beer Run Ever' Review
Four years ago, Green Book premiered at the Toronto Film Festival. Now, Peter Farrelly is back at the festival with his follow-up film, which I think is a lot worse. Yes, really.

KQED: The Highs and Lows of the 91st Academy Awards
This was a treat: I was asked to be on KQED's Forum with host Michael Krasny yesterday morning to discuss the Oscars. I was joined by Claudia Puig and Tre'vell Anderson, and we all had a lot to say about Green Book, Olivia Colman's surprise win and how the industry is doing in terms of diversity. Plus, we took some calls from listeners. Very, very fun: You can hear the whole thing here.

Could 'Green Book' Win Best Picture?
For Rolling Stone, I wrote about an Oscar scenario that many of us fear: Green Book pulls off the upset and wins Best Picture. What would that mean for the Academy? What does it say about the Academy? Read on.

Some Thoughts on 'Green Book'
How was Don Shirley's music?
What iconic HBO series was Tony Lip on?
What's the Farrelly brothers' best film?
And why is Green Book the annoyingly adorably puppy of movies?
I answer all these questions over at MEL.

The Grierson & Leitch Podcast: Heists, Westerns, 'The Crimes of Grindelwald' and 'Green Book'
Lots of new movies to discuss. I rave about Widows. I opine on The Ballad of Buster Scruggs. I defend (barely) Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. And I talk to Will about Green Book. (He hasn't seen it yet.) You can hear the whole episode down below.

On this week's episode, we talk about Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Then, in our Reboot segment, we come to praise A Serious Man and bury The Ringer. You can hear the whole podcast down below.

'Dumb and Dumber To' Review
After being a vocal champion of The Three Stooges -- the movie, I mean -- I'm sad to say that the Farrelly brothers' Dumb and Dumber To is a bust. I reviewed the mediocre sequel for Screen International.

Giving 'The Three Stooges' Another Chance
The Three Stooges arrives on DVD tomorrow. I was very pleased with the movie when it came out in April and then not very happy when it failed to do much at the box office. So here's your chance to catch up with a very funny movie. A very stupid movie, sure -- but also pretty darn funny. I advocate for the film over at IFC Fix.

'The Three Stooges' Review
Much to my pleasant, astonished surprise, I thought The Three Stooges was pretty consistently funny. And not just that: When it's funny, it's really funny. It's not a new high-water mark for the Farrelly brothers, but it did help remind me why I used to like them so much in the '90s. Please understand that this is an unabashedly lowbrow comedy, but it finds its groove early on and doesn't overstay its welcome. That's good enough for me. My Three Stooges review is up at Screen International.
