The Grierson & Leitch Podcast: 'The Christophers,' Another 'Mummy' and 'Normal'
Susan and I were away this past weekend, but that did not stop Will and me from recording our podcast. (We taped some segments beforehand and some during the trip.) You can hear us discuss Steven Soderbergh's latest, as well as Lee Cronin's The Mummy and Normal, both of which stink. Oh, and I talk about Citizen Kane a little as well. Hope you enjoy.

Toronto 2025: 'Normal' Review
Bob Odenkirk has recently remade himself into an unlikely action hero. But Normal makes me wonder if this pivot has serious limitations. My review is here.

The Grierson & Leitch Podcast: 'Highest 2 Lowest' and 'Wonder Boys'
On this week's episode, we go long on Spike Lee's latest. We have less to say about the fairly forgettable Nobody 2, and then we travel back to 2000 to revisit Wonder Boys. Lots of good stuff in here, which you can check out down below.

'Nobody 2' Review
I liked Nobody fine. But, man, I think this new one really stretches the thin premise beyond its breaking point. My Nobody 2 review is right here.

Ranking the 'John Wick' Team's Non-'John Wick' Movies
Now that the folks who came up with John Wick have started branching out into other films, Will and I decided to put together a little guide to these non-John Wick properties. Not surprisingly, these movies often ... feel like John Wick movies, except with some small differences. Our rankings are live over at Vulture.

The Grierson & Leitch Podcast: 'Bad Trip' and 'Synecdoche, New York'
On this week's episode, we reviewed two new movies: Nobody and Bad Trip. And then, in our Reboot segment, we go back to Charlie Kaufman's directorial debut. That's where the good conversation happens. You can hear the whole show down below.

'Press Play With Madeleine Brand': Bob Odenkirk, 'Shoplifters of the World' and 'Six Minutes to Midnight'
I was on KCRW on Thursday, as opposed to the usual Friday, to review this weekend's new movies, alongside my pal Katie Walsh. Listen to our wise words down below.

'Nobody' Review
Bob Odenkirk gets his John Wick on with Nobody. I think the movie is ... good enough. My review is up at Screen International.

Some Thoughts on 'Better Call Saul'
Better Call Saul returned last night. For MEL, I wrote about Bob Odenkirk, Mr. Show, Rhea Seehorn, missing Michael McKean, and our fascination with weasels. You can read the piece right here.

'W/ Bob & David': My Interview With Bob Odenkirk and David Cross
I've lived in Los Angeles long enough that I remember going to tapings of Mr. Show back in the day. Well, Bob and David are back with their new sketch series, W/ Bob & David, and for Rolling Stone I spoke with the guys about this so-called reunion. (It's not really a reunion: They never went away.)
This piece is a long time coming. Back in April, I went to a W/ Bob & David taping -- made me very nostalgic for the old show -- and have seen two episodes of the new series. Plus, I wrote a shorter profile piece that will appear in the magazine. In the meantime, though, you can read this longer version online.
