Sometimes, you hear a song a bunch of times but it never fully connects. You know it's good, but it always feels like someone else's favorite, never yours. Then you hear it in the right context, and it finally clicks. Anyway, here's my go-to version of "Pink Pony Club."

The World "Stan" Wrought
In 2001 at the Grammys, Eminem performed "Stan" with Elton John. This was a big deal, for several reasons. I go into why over at MEL.

Can you enjoy Rocketman if you don't really love Elton John's music?
Why was seeing the premiere in Cannes especially meaningful?
And how many Grammys has Sir Reg won?

Adele - "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)"
As you may have heard, the Grammys are Sunday. As long as Twenty One Pilots wins nothing, I'm cool with how the evening plays out. Will Adele go home with another Album of the Year trophy? It's either 25 or Lemonade -- and I'm betting the Academy won't want to snub Beyoncé again.

What's the Best "Album of the Year" Grammy-Winner of the Last 20 Years?
Over at MEL, I gave a listen to the last 20 years of Grammy winners in the Album of the Year category. What I discovered: Some are awful, many are mediocre, and a few are actually really damn good. I ranked and reviewed them all, and I can you read the results right here.

Radiohead Win Best Grammy Comment
It's not a Grammy category yet, but Radiohead guitarist Johnny Greenword deserves some sort of award for this response to the ridiculous lavishness of the Grammys:
Everything I know about pop culture I know from The Simpsons, and they say the Grammys aren't very good. For the record, I thought their performance of "15 Steps" with the USC marching band was just OK. It's not one of my favorite tracks from In Rainbows.
