The Grierson & Leitch Podcast: Another 'Scream,' 'In the Blink of an Eye' and 'EPiC'
We are less than two weeks away from the Oscars. On our latest episode, though, we focus on new movies. We both disliked Scream 7 and In the Blink of an Eye. And then we got down with EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert. Check out our lively banter down below.

In Praise of 'Elvis: That's the Way It Is'
Now that Elvis is available for rental/purchase, I wanted to take a moment to spotlight an older, better film about the King. That would be Elvis: That's the Way It Is, the 1970 documentary about his Las Vegas residency, which is actually featured in Elvis. My thoughts are over at Decider.

'Elvis,' 'Amadeus' and Our Fascination With Greatness
Elvis is told from the perspective of Colonel Tom Parker, not Elvis Presley. That got me thinking about other films that use a similar technique, and what they say about our relationship with supernaturally talented individuals. My latest for MEL is here.

Cannes 2022: 'Elvis' Review
Whoops! Amidst all the Cannes runaround, I completely forgot to mention that I reviewed Elvis, which is very Baz Luhrmann-y, unfortunately. My review is up at Screen International.
