Ryan Reynolds gives one of his best recent performances in The Voices, the new film from Persepolis director Marjane Satrapi. In this dark comedy (or is it really a horror film?), he plays a sweet weirdo who has much darker stuff going on in his head than we initially realize. The Voices' risky mixture of tones succeeds.
