The film with the most evocative title at True/False would have to be
The Machine Which Makes Everything Disappear. It's a documentary from the country of Georgia, and it has a terrific premise. Filmmaker Tinatin Gurchiani put up ads looking for local young people to audition for a movie. When the would-be actors showed up, she asked them questions about their lives, which led her to follow them into their worlds, learning more about a specific aspect of them. It's a rambling, meditative film that grew on me as it went along. You can read my
